Why is there so much poverty, starvation, conflict, war, and suffering in our world?
Almost 900 million people worldwide suffer from chronic undernourishment. 21,000 people, 14,000 of whom are children, die every day, of hunger or hunger related causes. During the past century over 100 million people have been killed in wars Many conflicts, such as those in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, and many more, continue unabated.
The source of these problems I believe is:

In 1931, Monseigneur Georges Lemaître proposed in his hypothèse de l’atome primitif (hypothesis of the primeval atom) that the universe began with the ‘explosion’ of the ‘primeval atom’. This theory later became known as the Big Bang Theory.
In my blog dated 9th Nov 2014 I gave logical reasons why the Big Bang theory is not a credible model for explaining the origin of the universe. In this blog I will explain an alternative model, which I have named…..
Lest we forget, the following few point will remind us that planet earth is a place of pain and suffering for a significant number of people:
In our world today approximately 870 million people suffer from poverty and starvation 21,000 people, 14,000 of whom are children, die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes In the last century approximately 100 million people have been killed in wars. When you add to this figure the numbers wounded, the societies destroyed and…..
Renowned astronomer, physicist, and cosmologist, Robert Jastrow, wrote the following in his book, God and the Astronomers (first published in 1978):

He has scaled the mountains of ignorance, he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries”

The concept of the Big Bang is based on the mindset that the universe is purely a physical1 phenomenon, as was explained in my blog of November 9th, 2014. Whether correct or otherwise, the Big Bang theory sets the agenda for the scientific understanding of life, which is as follows:
Life emerged from non-life about 3.7 billion years ago Life evolved, and continues to evolve, based on mutation, natural selection, and time All mutations are by chance.
